Her Volatile Condition is the first full length album released by Edinburgh based electronic songstress Sacre Noir. The album features a collection of laid back lullabies & dub influences meanderings with the familiar haunting atmospherics and layered vocals that have become synonymous with the lo-fi stylings of Sacre Noir.
"A surprisingly high-quality demo from gothic electronica artist Sacre Noir shows that there's more to modern music than Jam rip-offs and tatty Converse. Mixing soaring vocals with some suitably atmospheric beats, it sounds much like Faithless might have done if they'd grown up as rabid Sisters Of Mercy fans." - ITM?
"It’s as though Goldfrapp have gone all French and expressed some true emotion from the world, rather than their own hearts. This is the widescreen, French aural cinema. Undoubtedly, the artist has made this record from their own heart and from experiences and times in their own lives but Sacre Noir here has sidestepped the common trap of self-pity and put enough hooks and thought into this set of songs to make sure we can all relate to this."
